History of the Alkebu-lan Cultural Center

 

Alkebu-lan Cultural Center was founded as a community based non-profit cultural center. Alkebu-lan Cultural Center was founded by Versie Mae Richardson with two of her colleagues, Alkebu-lan Cultural Center was originally housed In a storefront at 317 East Orange Grove Boulevard in Pasadena, California, In partnership with the City of Pasadena, in 1996, Alkebu-lan Cultural Center moved to an old fire station at 1435 North Raymond Avenue in Pasadena and began providing programs at the new location.
